The top two spellers, Nairit Sarkar, the Champion, and Neha Thomas, the Runner Up, at the Collin County Spelling Bee, held on February 12, 2015, are students of GeoSpell Academy. Nairit will be participating in the Dallas Morning News Regional Bee on March 21, 2015. Winner of the Dallas Regional Bee will be going to Washington DC, in May, to participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
Smrithi Upadhyayula, student of GeoSpell Academy, has won the Dallas County Spelling Bee, held on February 18, 2015.
